We had an awesome stay at the Jumanyuan House. Besides the breathtaking views you get on the only partially restored Great wall, the accommodation was really great! The host organised really everything for us - train connections, pick-ups and Co. He told us where to go best for sunset and sunrise, even told us to buy some snacks for our early hike and where to get them. His dad drove us around and his mom prepared a delicious dinner for us. We were really sad to leave after only 1 night. Thanks for everything!

Our host, Ellie, was really accommodating and baked fresh bread, macaroons, and croissants for us. Your stay includes a roundtrip car ride and tickets to Gubei Watertown (just 5 minutes drive away). She also arranged for a driver to take us to Panlongshan for a small fee, which is a wild section of the Great Wall about 15 minutes away. I would definitely recommend the hotpot dinner, at the guesthouse, too. I appreciated the small details, like the bathbomb that was provided with the bathtub, too!

It also walking distance to a segment of the great wall(This is a hidden treasure you shouldn't miss) in the Simata area.

The cozy atmosphere, from comfy sofas to heated Japanese toilet seats, makes it feel like home. Plus, the food is incredibly delicious. I just love this place and will definitely come back in the future!
