Friendly and polite staff, very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant served delicious dishes at affordable prices. It is the perfect place to relax for the weekend. The Guandi Family Temple is only a 10min walk from the property, very easy to reach and totally worth the visit. As for other tourism attractions although a bit far, the hotel can recommend drivers and the prices are acceptable.

The hotel is located in the old city centre of Pingyao, and it is an old building in Chinese style. When we arrived, we had a warm welcome with a cup of tea. The staff is really friendly, and they speak English very well. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a hotel with greater hospitality! The staff helped us with tickets for several attractions in the old city. We really recommend to stay at this hotel!

Bertempat di sebuah akomodasi tradisional dengan sejarah 300 tahun, Pingyao Yide menawarkan kamar-kamar bergaya China dengan furnitur kayu dan karya seni buatan tangan yang halus. Yide Hotel was incredibly beautiful and serene! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I emailed across my arrival train and they arranged (for a very small sum!) for me to be picked up- the same on the way back to Pingyaogucheng, which was immensely helpful. On the day I arrived I happened to get an upgrade on my room- can't be guaranteed, but was great. The breakfast was delicious- I had a lovely tea, scrambled eggs and toast. There were many more options and it was unlimited in how much you had! They gave me a useful map and talked me through the top sites to see. Overall a brilliant stay.

It is on the “the South Street”, the main walking street of the Old town, easy to get to everywhere. It is several steps to the South Gate, so can get a transport car easily. The host is quite friendly, give a lot of travel tips and can also help to arrange tour guide service. They also offer pick up and drop off service to railway station. Room is large and clean, breakfast also good. I would highly recommend this hostel.
