On this full-day guided tour, you’ll start from Shanghai and head to the city of Suzhou by hopping on the popular, high-speed bullet train. You’ll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the Shanghai railway station for your train ride. You’ll arrive in Suzhou in just 30 minutes.
In Suzhou, you’ll have the liberty to choose around four attractions to visit and explore in the day along with your guide. You’ll also stop for lunch at a local restaurant and try local food such as bamboo, shrimp, soup noodles and sticky rice cake.
You can visit the Master-of-Nets Garden or the 400-year-old Humble Administrators Garden. You can go on a boat ride on the ancient grand canals and then visit one of the oldest Buddhist Pagodas at Tiger Hill. Then you can head to Shantang Street or Pingjiang Street to try local cafes and do some souvenir shopping.
