On this private tour, you’ll have the chance to discover some of the scenic landmarks of the Dunhuang region with a guide.
You’ll begin your tour by heading to a valley southeast of Dunhuang, where you’ll explore the Mogao Caves. As you walk through the caves, you’ll see painted statues, wooden buildings and various murals before stopping for lunch.
After lunch, you’ll continue your tour with a visit to the Singing Sand Dunes and Crescent Lake. You’ll be able to take a camel ride through the dunes, famed for creating musical sounds during certain wind conditions. You’ll also have the opportunity to include a slide ride down a dune before stopping at the historical Crescent Lake, known for its crescent moon shape.
